Have your say about the concept plans for the Booran Road Reservoir.
Glen Eira City Council is currently seeking your feedback on concept plans for the former Caulfield Service Reservoir (Glen Huntly / Booran Road Reservoir). The unique 1.6 hectare site presents a number of challenges and opportunities. Council has prepared three concept plans that use the existing concrete reservoir in either a functional or aesthetic manner.

Glen Eira City Council Community Plan Consultations

Glen Eira City Council has commenced a comprehensive community consultation process for the development of a new Glen Eira Community Plan 2013-2017. The consultation process will include telephone surveys, focus groups, online consultation and community forums.
This on-line consultation process will close on Wednesday 29 February 2012.
Council will also provide six community forums during the month of February to encourage residents to get involved in their local community and have their say on what impacts them directly. By registering your details as part of this online consultation, participants will receive a copy of the draft plan for comment.

Council undertakes a review of dog off leash areas.

Council has recently altered the off leash provision in parks and gardens across the municipality. The changes were made following a report developed by animal management experts Harlock Jackson Pty Ltd which examined all parks to ensure that off-leash areas were appropriate.
The report also examined other relevant issues, such as off-leash distances, timed off leash areas, education and signage.

Comments and discussion made in this forum is considered part the overall consultation process and will be used to assist Council in deciding the future direction of this project.
Submissions are not confidential and will be incorporated in full (including all personal information) into the agenda and minutes of the Council Meeting at which they are considered. These minutes will be made available on Council's website for public inspection in accordance with all applicable statutory requirements, including, without limitation, those prescribed by the Local Government Act 1989.

Marlbourough Reserve Redevelopment Plans

Glen Eira City Council is currently seeking community feedback on a Redevelopment Plan for Marlborough Reserve.
Highlights of the plan include a native plant garden in the place of the tennis courts and dog agility training area in the north western corner. The proposed Redevelopment Plans will make a significant addition to the
quality and diversity of public open space in Glen Eira.
