Small project, big impact

Do you have an idea for a small project that could make a big difference in your local area? We’d like to hear from you and work together to make it happen.

We are looking for creative, community-driven ideas that enhance our activity centres. Projects will reflect local needs and interests, helping create vibrant, welcoming, and safe places where people live, work, and visit.

The Community Place Project is a trial program as part of our Placemaking Strategy that seeks to transform community ideas into real improvements.

We will select two – four projects to be implemented, based on responses to the selection criteria.

Submissions are open until Sunday 5 January 2025, 11.59pm so now’s the time to get involved.
