How we're using your feedback

The next Federal election will take place in early 2025. In the Australian Parliament, Glen Eira is part of the electorates of Goldstein, Hotham and Macnamara. Election campaigns provide an important opportunity for Council to advocate for our community.

Feedback from Community Voice helped shape our Federal Advocacy Priorities for each electorate, which Council endorsed on 4 February 2025

For more information on Federal election advocacy visit our website.

We publish 11 issues of Glen Eira News each year (February–December).

We will continuously use the feedback from Community Voice to assess the effectiveness of Glen Eira News as a communication tool and to guide improvements, ensuring it remains a valuable and relevant source of information for the community.

You can read the latest issue online on our website.

The community can contact Council’s Service Centre by phone from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.30pm and on Tuesdays from 5.30pm to 7.15pm. On average, we receive more than 15,000 calls from the community per month.

We’ll use the insights from Community Voice to help refine and enhance our contact methods to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

We surveyed Community Voice members through the Community Confidence and Feelings of Safety Survey to understand how perceptions of safety have changed over time.

Since 2019, this survey has helped us track trends, identify key safety priorities, and measure the impact of past initiatives. As the Community Safety Plan 2022–2025 comes to an end, the insights gathered will play a key role in shaping our next plan to support a safer Glen Eira.
